Privacy Policy
This policy covers the website westmorearchive.org and YT Project Pipeline, a private tool the operator of The Westmore Archive uses to manage its own YouTube channel.
YouTube API Services
YT Project Pipeline uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the account holder agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The tool is used only by the channel operator, on the operator's own channel. It does not access any other user's account.
What the tool accesses
- The connected channel's basic information (channel ID, name, video count), to confirm the right channel is connected.
- Videos and their metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, privacy status, thumbnails) that the operator uploads.
How that data is used and stored
- Only to upload and manage the operator's own videos.
- The sign-in key and a log of uploads (video ID, title, source archive) are stored on the operator's own computer. They are not sold, shared or sent to third parties.
- Upload logs are kept for as long as the channel exists, to track where footage came from. They can be deleted at any time.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time from Google's security settings: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
